I finally made the hop-skip-and-a-jump back to Liberty’s campus for the spring semester. Packing wasn’t too hard. As a business student, by nature, my wardrobe is narrowed down to the basic colors: black, tan, and white. Thankfully, these are the only colors I wear.

If we have not met, let me introduce myself. I’m a Liberty student studying finance and marketing with a love for fashion. While fashion is a fun hobby, I believe it is also an important form of silent communication. Who are you? What do you believe? How do you value the current situation?

Many business students, myself included, dress like they’re on the job. This means we look good. Professional. However, dressing professional doesn’t mean we have to dress boring. I’ve nicknamed this piece “The Edgy French Girl.” Inspired by Coco Chanel’s classic jacket with a modern twist, this outfit is both feminine, classy, and completely original.

Never underestimate the power of minimal colors, cut, and layering. Or your younger brother’s closet. He still doesn’t know I borrow his soccer socks.

How are you styling your professional wardrobe?
